HERE IS WHAT MISTY, MY SISTER, HAS TO SAY ABOUT HER WEEKEND THUS FAR WITH MY KIDS...
My sister and her hubby are in Costa Rica right now (AHHH YEAH!!), so I have the first shift of watching her kids. I brought them back to our house so we could hang out with Phil. He had several things going on this weekend so he couldn't come out with us. Anyhow, here are several pictures from today. We went to the park across the street and had some fun out there. The 3 big kids went back to the park while the little boys napped. I set myself up on the corner where I still had reception on the monitor and could see the kids at the park. After a visit from Grandma, Grandpa and Joslyn we went to a local water park. Little did we know there was a festival going on down town so it was packed! We still had fun, though! I think (hope) we're looking at early bedtimes tonight because if they feel at all like me, everyone should be pooped! Here a million picture (I'm hoping my sister will check my blog while she's gone so she can see her kiddos) THANK YOU! THEY TOTALLY MAKE ME SMILE! AND I MISS MY SWEET LITTLE RUGRATS!!

Apparently, the night wasn't quite over! I realized it was time for all the kids to take baths. I put the 2 girls in our tub with the jets and then took the little boys into the other bathroom. We told them they could have a jetted bath, or a bubble bath but not both. I thought the girls sounded like they were having way too much fun, and, I was right! Here are some pictures from the evening. Who would've thought I needed to keep a closer eye on the two older ones? Needless to say, when J saw what they had done, he HAD to join in on the fun! I used the threat last night after several visits to the bedroom and little boys being woken up! =)
I will say we got some funny looks. Phil and I were both pushing strollers, I'm pregnant and we had 3 kids hanging on the strollers. We even had one person comment about us being "quite the group!" It was pretty funny! It was fun though! We all got a little too much sun, but I think I got the worst of it because I didn't put sunscreen on myself until we got to the water park. Oh well. We're heading back tonight and I think Ty is staying here. He ended up with a nasty runny nose. D will be sad, I'm sure, but Ty will enjoy being home with dad! We kept him up late for a little one-on-one time last night and he loved it! =)
Enjoy, now you have to blog about YOUR trip! Did I mention J and S both picked me flowers on Friday at the park by your house? It was very sweet!
Oh, and D was both content and timid. He was not a fan of the explosions of water. That corner let him be inthe water and far enough away that he didn't get wet from the blast. The kids would run around (I have a video) and come splash him on occasion. Ty would also go play with him, too. Ty just wanted to run free. He has bumps and bruises from his failed escape attempts running on the wet ground...stinker!
Way to go Misty- power mom/auntie! :) Such fun pictures!
